High-quality, Australian designed and manufactured, Under Vehicle Protection (Bash Plates) for the Isuzu D-MAX (2021 onwards).
The two front plate options available with this kit (Type 1 and Type 2) have been designed to fit with or without, the popular ARB Recovery Points being fitted to these vehicles. They'll also fit with Roadsafe recovery points.
These UVP kits are literally as good as they get.
Designed in partnership with Milford Industries and manufactured by Milford Industries in Adelaide, our D-MAX UVP is made from 6mm thick aluminium, which makes it as strong as 4mm mild steel and around 8kg lighter than an identical four plate set made out of 3mm mild steel or stainless.
The three plate kit is a direct replacement for the factory UVP and is not only infinitely stronger, it only weighs around 5kgs more. If you're D-MAX is getting up around it's GVM when loaded, this is the UVP you need.
Our design required an aluminium alloy that had superior formability properties. Where some other kits use 6mm 5052 aluminium, Milford's testing revealed that it was prone to cracking when being bent, and wasn't really suitable, from a quality and longevity perspective. Our plates are made from 5005 H34 aluminium, and it comes with some interesting benefits, which include a flexural rigidity measurement (resistance to bending) that is the equivalent of 4.2mm mild steel, with a weight difference of 94 percent.
Fitting is straightforward and being light weight, each plate is easy to remove and replace when access is needed for servicing. We've even had an Isuzu dealer test fit these plates, and they found them easy to handle and super easy to remove and replace for servicing.
There are two kits available:
FOUR PLATE KIT - Replaces the factory supplied UVP with the addition of a fourth plate to protect the transfer case.
THREE PLATE KIT - Direct replacement for the factory supplied UVP.
There are two kit type options available:
To suit different factory and aftermarket front bar options (the front plate is all that differs).
TYPE 1 - Suits the factory bumper, and any bull bar that retains the factory stone guards, such as ARB, TJM and the factory Isuzu bull bars.
TYPE 2 - Suits Rhino, Hamer, Ironman, Opposite Lock and most bull bars or bumper replacement bars that come with their own front plate that runs down to the square cross-member with the two tow points.
Front Plate Finish - The front plates (either Type 1 or Type 2) come in a Signal Red powder coat finish per the images.

Fitting is dead easy. There's no cutting, modification, welding or gluing required. It's as easy as removing the factory UVP and bolting this much better gear on.
Note: The fitting video shows the original Type 1 front plate design. The only difference between this and the ARB recovery point version, from a fitting perspective, is that the new version fits with four bolts, not six (ie it's easier to fit!).
