Drivetech CV Driveshafts are a cost-effective option to the more expensive OEM driveshafts and are backed by a 3 Year/60,000km warranty, which is one of the best warranties in the industry.
It is, however, important to understand the difference between a product defect and damage caused by off-road use. CV driveshafts are designed to be the weakest link in your vehicle's drivetrain, they essentially act as a 'fuse' to prevent damage to other more expensive components.
Drivetech's warranty will cover manufacturing defects, but broken shafts are normally the result of a combination of factors such as oversized tyres, excessive torque and wheel spin.
These driveshafts are not designed to bestronger or more reliable than OEM driveshafts. They are a cost effective replacement part (1/4 the cost of genuine) which makes it cheaper and easier to carry spares and replace worn/broken shafts.
